Hello Tumblr

While I always did like the setup of a tumblr blog, I could never take this site “seriously” as some may do. While I was one who was never too keen on the “audience” of Tumblr, I did have a blog for over a year, basically treating it as an “archive” for funny pictures or gifs I may have collected or reblogged off other blogs. Over time, and while partly reflecting on my personal goals in life, I decided to create a “real” blog.

Now I don’t really consider this site a “social network” as some may think it to be. I have no intentions to “vent” or type of random post about “how I feel today” or whatever. I created this blog mainly to talk about key aspects of certain things of my interest, and most likely even more.

When I say “talk about”, I’m really just meaning that I’m talking to myself, putting mental thoughts in a visual manner just to keep record for myself. Then if anyone just so happens to come across it, I’d hope to make it an interesting read, or something for someone to think about.

As for who I am, I go by the names of MegaYoshi, Stitchpunk, and Nokay. I would respond to any.

I am an avid video gamer, playing games all my life. I really have no *dislikes* when it comes to gaming, fluently play all genres on Xbox/Playstation/Nintendo/PC+etc at all times.

For the majority of my life I wanted to be an artist. More specifically, to create cartoon animations or designing effects in games or movies.

There’s a lot to all of this that I may explain eventually. But as of this time, for years I’ve felt as if I’ve lost my touch to become an artist. I haven’t sat down and drawn anything since the beginning of high school. (it’s been over 4+ years)

Of course during that time, I’ve always been constantly active among the web and gaming. But even when trying to keep up with the rest of the world, I still felt as if I wasn’t going anywhere.

I plan to change that, and this blog is going to be a part of the start of me “taking action”, and pursuing what I always dreamed to do.

As for archiving stuff, I currently got a side blog going (linked in the description) to do just that. Right now I’ve been refollowing some blogs I really liked from my other account, and reblogging and posting a few things that I had already archived.

As for activity goes, though I’m always around on the net, I may or may not be posting things frequently. But we’ll see how things work out.
